Lynne plays a number of instruments including fiddle, piano and harp.  She plays in several Scottish country dance bands and has taught, played and studied music for Scottish dancing around the world.  Lynne's day job involves instrumental teaching and conducting student orchestras, and in her "spare" time she enjoys Scottish Country Dancing and playing in the local orchestra.

Lynne was the moving force behind the creation of Schiehallion in 2007, and is the current band leader.  Lynne arranges most of the music into dance sets for the group and organises rehearsals for everyone.
