James has a strong technical background and enjoys the challenge of making the Band sound good in every different hall.   He also does a great job of MC-ing when required.  A self-employed Internet technolgy specialist, James finds time for beekeeping, orienteering, volunteering at Hutt Radio, sound recording, and - you guessed it - Scottish Country Dancing.
